Learn to use the tools in Google Suite to write quickly, effectively, professionally, and format papers to your advantage!
The first in a series, this workshop with expert Alison Stagg focuses on the Google Docs program and the Google Sheets program.
Docs is a document writing program that allows you to write, edit, design and format your writing in a multitude of ways. We will touch on the basics and begin to play with the more advanced tools and unique features of Google Suite.
Sheets is a spreadsheet program that is very intuitive and great for communicating information through both data and writing. We will go over the basics of how Sheets can be formatted and how to create spreadsheets, pivot tables, diagrams and templates to track data, make stronger presentations, and become more literate in this program.
Effective literacy and writing has changed. Knowing how to use the tools in Google Suite is a basic and necessary skill that students, writers, and professionals alike need to master as easily as texting and writing. This is an opportunity to learn the editing tools available in the Google Suite to make your writing shine!
