Are you trying to create the perfect character in your own writing? Understanding what makes a character who they are and the reasons behind their words and actions can help you take your reading and writing to another level.
In this workshop with expert Charmonda Hatcher-Wallace, you will learn to recognize the 8 most common female archetypes in literature. Vivid examples of each type will be discussed, and you will leave with an understanding of female characterization from the perspective of a reader or writer.
Charmonda Hatcher-Wallace is a published author and holds a Masters in English Literature with over 10 years of teaching experience. Her thesis titled “Biblical Commentaries and Glosses and Their Effect Upon the Black Slave, Blacks in American and African Americans” was published and reviews the linguistic variances of commentaries and glosses as well as the cultural and philosophical differences between blacks in America and African Americans.
Charmonda has studied British Literature, World Literature, American Literature and Black Literature, and has an affinity for Toni Morrison, Charles Dickens and mythology. She also has videos on the Teaching Channel related to writing and grammar which have been rated as highly effective.
All of our workshops are held over Zoom.
